Kristín (pronounced Kris-teen) grew up in Kalamazoo, MI and spent
summers in Iceland with her family.
As a kid, she loved gymnastics
and swimming, but eventually her love of the stage began its take over! Her first taste of the theatre was in 5th grade
where she played one of the lead roles in the choir Christmas musical - From that moment on, Kristín was most at home on stage.
In high school, Kristín was a member
of a youth repertory company that brought Shakespeare into highschools all over Michigan. Her company even made its
way to Europe for a short tour in France, Belgium and Holland!
After a breif stint at Ohio Wesleyan
University, Kristín transfered back to K-zoo and ended up with a BFA in musical theatre performance from Western Michigan
University.
Through out college Kristín performed
in Michigan, doing many shows. Some of her favorite roles were in "Children of Eden," "I Love You, You're
Perfect, Now Change" and "Godspell." With some good pals from WMU, Kristin also directed and performed in a few
seasons of dinner theatre cabaret.
Kristín's musical ambitions have held
strong and currently she is the lead singer for the band AUDIO FICTION. Her first album with the
band is now available! Check out AUDIO FICTION's self titled debut album on iTunes, Amazon.com, cdbaby, etc....
